Now moving to a new machine with Windows 7 64. I want to use the WG111 on the new machine. I downloaded the new driver for Win7 64 and try to install. It hangs, and gives error 28. Prompt from Netgear says go to device manager, delete device, shut down machine and resume loading. All should work. Software wants you to uninstall previous software. Which I do and start over. But as soon as I try to install software it again tells me it has to uninstall the previous software, which I had just done. No matter what I do, it only wants to uninstall the previous software. Searching the computer, I find no files left over. Using CCleaner does nothing. Registry repair does nothing. MS uninstall can't uninstall anything, because it does not exist. How does one get this software installed so the driver will work? The WG111 still works on the old XP machine.
